“Put your Rollies in the sky and wave’em side to side”. Well.. not all of us can rock a Rolex whenever we please, but thankfully there’s a massive supply of affordable wrist wear available to anyone on the internet. I’m here to dig through the style crates and pass a long some of my favorites for the summer season.

It seems like everyone is rocking a G-Shock these days. They’re affordable and a trustworthy product for the urban grind. Lets take a step outside the box but keep the same classic look with this watch from Adidas. The black face with red accents combined with a durable grey rubberized plastic strap will feel comfortable on your wrist and keep you fresh on the streets. Nixon Time Teller: $100, 43 mm
Available now
The Nixon brand has been turning out watches since 1997, and for a company that catered mostly to the surf, snow, and skate crowd, they’ve stepped their game up over the last few years. Take this understated yet refined spin on a classic design as an example. The matte black finish on a stainless steel band and face accented with a gold dial provides just the right amount richness I seek in an evening watch. Consider it a version of the every day mans Rolex.

Welcome. To. The. Future. Even the name of this watch sounds like a movie prop from Demolition Man. But trust me, not even Simon Phoenix had swagger like this. This watch from Diesel is a digital chronograph, a concept almost unheard of in the watch game. Throw in support for up to three different time zones and you’re looking at a watch that will catch eyes across the globe. After all that I shouldn’t even have to mention the look of this watch, but the technical blue face with yellow accent match perfectly with the industrial design of the band. This time piece will be a conversation starter in any environment.
