Very nice. The Air Force 1 white/white colorway launching in the Holiday 2011 Nike Sportswear collection pays homage to New York City basketball legend John Strickland, who sadly, passed in 2010. Nike’s AF1 homage to the legend includes signature details reminiscent of Strick, including a custom tongue tab with “finish your breakfast,” his trademark phrase meaning beating your defender off the dribble. Wow – Nike’s Vac Tech process meets the Air Force 1. The VT design features a seamless, unibody upper, removing panels and stitching to form a minimalistic construction that is comfortable, durable and water resistant. In fact, the sneaker only hosts stitches on the lace plate and heel – the rest is fused as one piece.
