STYLE: Nike – Jordan Fly Wade II
Oct 12th
Um, yes. Very nice. Due out in December, the Jordan Fly Wade II features Lunarlon cushioning, which replaces the Max Air found in its predecessor, and makes use of a Hyperfuse upper. A new logo has been designed, representing for numerous aspects of Wade’s life and career. The W (for Wade) is also a sideways 3 (his number), an upside down M (for Miami) and an E (for East Coast). Personal favorites are the B/R/W and B/W – but hey, thats just me. Click through for a Jumpman profile shot of each and link More >

STYLE: Nike Air Force One – Finish Your Breakfast
Sep 27th
Very nice. The Air Force 1 white/white colorway launching in the Holiday 2011 Nike Sportswear collection pays homage to New York City basketball legend John Strickland, who sadly, passed in 2010. Nike’s AF1 homage to the legend includes signature details reminiscent of Strick, including a custom tongue tab with “finish your breakfast,” his trademark phrase meaning beating your defender off the dribble. The shoe launches globally in October. More snaps follow More >
STYLE: Nike Air Force 1 Vac Tech PRM QK
Jul 4th
Wow – Nike’s Vac Tech process meets the Air Force 1. The VT design features a seamless, unibody upper, removing panels and stitching to form a minimalistic construction that is comfortable, durable and water resistant. In fact, the sneaker only hosts stitches on the lace plate and heel – the rest is fused as one piece.

STYLE: Air Jordan V (5) Retro “Olympic”
Jul 1st
Just in time for the Fourth of July holiday Nike is releasing the Air Jordan V Retro “Olympic” edition. The original Air Jordan V was the third design produced for the Jordan Brand by Tinker Hatfield who is believed to have drawn inspiration from the World War II P-40 Warhawk fighter plane, as evident by the sharp tooth design in the midsole of the shoe. The 5′s debuted in 1990 with a reflective tongue and clear rubber sole. Both were innovative features that have surfaced again for this 2011 retro version along with the signature lace lock apparatus. Also borrowing a page from the Air Jordan XI’s, the toe, mid section, and heel of the 2011 “Olympic” shoe are done in white patent leather.
The 5′s have long been considered one of the best versions of the Air Jordan line to ball in, but I imagine we’ll stay off the court in these to preserve the clean white crisp that covers these kicks. Celebrate your independence and pick up these Red, White, and Blue Air Jordans at your local Footlocker, Footaction, or online.
Air Jordan V (5) Retro “Olympic” Available July 2nd for $150 at footlocker.com and footaction.com
STYLE: Nike Air Flight Classic “White/Navy”
Jun 19th
Nice – not out yet, but look for these to release soon at all Nike retailers. Nike saw it fit to bring back the classic in an equally classic colorway, using a simple, predominantly white base with hits of navy blue. Via Sole Patrol
