The thing that everybody seems to keep missing unless I’m completely wrong which I’m sure I’m not, Dapper Dan was not talkin about using his power influence in the way that they are thinking, he’s taking his influence into an infrastructure that already exists to accelerate his circumstance so that those who come after him will already be integrated into that infrastructure in be able to launch off onto their own. I hate the word integrated in the circumstance but it applies. He was saying that he would not have the time in his life which is not going to be another 30-40 years he’s in the 70s, to create the infrastructure that these fashion houses have created over the past 50 60 hundred hundred plus years with some of the major brands. He also was making the clear statement that the market is bigger than just the urban blacks in America in we also are very fickle all of brands that we gotten close to once we decided that too many other people like them we just walk away from them example Karl Kani Fubu cross color.
